GTA 4!

Grand Theft Auto IV (GTA IV) is the eleventh, upcoming installment of the Grand Theft Auto videogame franchise, announced to be released by Rockstar Games on October 16, 2007 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.[1] During the 2006 Microsoft E³ press conference, it was announced that Grand Theft Auto IV would be available for the Xbox 360 and that Rockstar will offer exclusive episodic content to the Xbox 360 [2] (though they did not specifically limit the content to GTA IV). After the press conference, Rockstar Games' parent company, Take-Two Interactive posted a press release announcing Grand Theft Auto IV will be released simultaneously for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms.

Well it over an year away from release.... I have no idea what I'm going to do for the next 15 months. I'm wondering which city the game will be in, Fingers crossed that it's london because thats what came next in the classic line up. It would be so sweet....

Well the original GTA Expantion pack for GTA London was set in 1969... And I'll say this....

Okay I've been thinking about this and to make GTA4 stand out from the rest of them. They should turn it into a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) like WoW. Take the Settings and Missions and turn into one big Multiplayer world. Players could team up to form Gang, Pull off missions togerther. Could you imagine it? all those players on-line at once, Hell it could turn into riots if everyone is suddenly armed with SMG's and so forth. But that's what needs to be done with the next GTA Game....

Sweet! I can't wait for the next installment.

....I just hope they add some fresh ideas to the game play as Vice city, San Andreas where very similar in content. At times they have only felt like add on packs to GTA3? :rolleyes:

Just imagine the running street battles between gangs, Guns going off, Rockets rushing by your face. Everyone turning agaisnt each other. L.A. Riots eat you heart out.... GTA IV MMORPG

There was a rumour that it would not be set in america so UK looks fairly likely as it is the only other country for gta to have been set in so far

vice city and san andreas were part of the GTA 3 trilogy, like expansion packs for the game, GTA 4 marks the start of a new trilogy

Yea I hope it's the same style of gameplay though. I really like that 3rd person thing over the top down rts style.

I think it is basically the same thing involving a new place and the characters from the other GTAs aren't mentioned anymore

looking on amazon uk, there is a review by someone claiming to have a 360, PS3 and gta4, he doesn't seem to realize that people are smart enough to know that the ps3 isn't out yet, and even more far fetched is his claim to have a game that isn't finished yet

It would be soo cool if they could make it a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) like those for Guild War.

Just thing of all that mayhem you could get up too.... form rival cartels or maifa gangs, wear the colours and tag the hood, Go on drive by shooting and elimnate the opisition and rise the ladder to become Kingpin of the Underworld.... :lol:

I'm tired of everybody saying they should make this into MMOs and they should make this into a MMO. NO! It's total change of style. Shut the hell up, not everybody loves MMOs. OMG

I agree with zip, I hate the idea, partly because I do not use the online featres for games, but mainly it is the the same thing as the rest of GTA, and MMOs are not a style of gaming I enjoy

Oh come on the only way they can ever improve this game is to make it alot more interactive with other people. I am getting sick of playing agaisnt bots, I want to fight Gang wars with gangs who interactive alot more...
