Hi there this is a link to my site http://www.essextauri.com its not a Stargate site, but as I am a human from Essex, I thought the name essex tau'ri was rather fitting. Not too sure if I'll be keeping the forum, but my fiance wants it too stay, and I guess until he wants it removed aswell, its staying...

If you ever wondered how it might feel or look like to wander through the streets of the City Of The Ancients, Stargate Atlantis, now you can. I have this Half-Life video game themed website dealing with VRML2 (Virtual Reality Markup Language, 2nd gen.) worlds. Basically, what I do is convert custom made Half-Life & Counter Strike game maps to the VRML2 format, upload them to my site and connect them to a multi-user server, thus turning the VRML2 scenes to 3D chat worlds. Anyway, I recently added another VRML2 scene to my site, which happens to be the high tech city of Stargate Atlantis. The web address to my site is: http://www.VirtualHL.info

Below is some screen capture shots of Atlantis as a multi-user VRML2 world along with some of the visitor's 3D avatars displayed in Internet Explorer:

































Technical requirements:
512 MB or more of Ram
DirectX 8 or higher
Broadband internet connection
BS Contact VRML viewer plugin (downoad from website)
ABNet multi-user Client (downoad from website)
Internet Explorer (All the other web browsers do not support multi-user 3D ActiveX controls)
