My name's Vern

. I come from Worcestershire, England, and work as a supervisor in a shop. I don't plan on doing it forever, but it's convenient hours for me and i kinda enjoy it. Im a total geek, and spend most of my time in my cave (a room in my house with my widescreen tv, computers, consoles, hifi, and aquariums ect: ect:). But i'm going wifi with my new laptop... so i may actually catch some sun in the garden :lol:

For music i like most genres except pop and pop-rock like McFly *shudders*. My main favs are rock/hardrock/punk but i enjoy most things.

I found Astrogate by creating it

. First it started off on free Lycos/Tripod hosting, and soon went off to a server/domain schrodinger paid for (thanks for that dude). Then i bought a domain and a couple of more hosts later we're here. And so far i think we've found the host we'll stay at for years to come

Hello my name is Liability have been around this forum for ages. I am from the Uk and come from the Surrey area near outer London. Like Vern i am also a bit of a geek at heart, so would rather go online than go on the pull! At the moment i am 22 years old and i love sci-fi. Most of my free time is spent at Astrogate as its a wicked place to hang out and have a laugh with the regulars.

I just joined this message board, which I accidentely found through another website. My screen name on this board is sparkplugloy, or spark for short.

I will not give out my full name before I know the members a little better, but you can call me Lani, which is derived from my name, or spark. I am eighteen years old and currently live in the south of France, where I was also born. I am a college student. After taking a gap year to study computers (I am a geeky computer nerd), I will start my studies towards a Ph.D. in astrophysics. My interests are quite narrow and include everything related to sciences and the Universe, acting/directing and tennis mainly.
I have been a fan of the Stargate since the 1994 movie, and I like both shows.

Well, well. I'm River, from Finland. I've been here a looong time.

I'm a student in a university of technology. I do sports and outdoors plus spend a lot of time at my computer. I'm a huge sci-fi fan almost of all sorts. I'm also a peacekeeper and will most likely go to Kosovo in '06.
