Oh yay! The goddamn Eurovision crapness contest is on now. God I hate this thing, it's 3 hours and 15 minutes (seriously, over 3 hours for a handful of songs) and we all know that we will lose, the only thing that would have tempted me to consider the potential of turning it on breifly as I flick through the channels is if the Irish entry had got through, but it didn't.

I can't believe they cancelled Doctor Who for this rubbish

seriously, does anyone here actually like it? They put it on every year but I don't know why, how many people actually watch it, afterall we all know England will lose. The only people I know who watch it are people who have nothing better to do and like Terry Wogan. I'm going for the safe option and playing games and watching DVDs and online videos.

Totally agree Nik. It's like when they used to cancel Farscape for the freaking snooker. Where's the sense in taking off a damn good program for a pathetic 70s throwback.

Nothing has changed, except it isn't farscape they cancel now. I don't understand why certain things take precedence over others, why is snooker so important? Couldn't it just be put on Match of the Day, same for things like golf, it goes on for weeks and they cancel anything that clashes, why couldnt they just have updates on the news, how can anyone sit through hours of people hitting little balls with sticks?

I'm still here. I only really come in to check this thread though because I have a fair bit of other stuff to be doing. I don't know if I want to join the roleplaying thread again or not lol. I'm RP'ing on another site and writing my latest story, and I don't want to overload myself with writing at this point. That's what's buried me in the past and I find it hard to keep up, lol.

Parents killed in a govermant black op and brought up by his aunt and uncle?
