maybe he's practicing his stealth techniques for Excalibur... although without him the organisation will go slower... silly Seffy, practising for something that won't happen if he practises too much
I have almost no time these days either. Monday I was in Labs doing practicals 9-5, then I was doing work from 6-10 in the evening. This is the first time I have felt properly swamped by my work since I got here
I don't know if I told you guys, I don't think I did, but I met David Hewlett last weekend at Armageddon Expo
He's a complete sweetheart in real life. He walked past the wrestling ring (where we were waiting for Nightmare to start again) and he was obviously in a hurry but when I called out to him he still found the time to have a small conversation with me (he had to keep walking though so it lasted about 15 seconds) but it was really nice of him to do that. Then later I got his autograph but the guy in front of me (who had some sort of disability) wouldn't stop talking, and I was just standing there listening and waiting for my turn, but David was happy to include me into the conversation as well which was really nice of him. Eventually he said politely that he had to get back to signing autographs and he apologised to me for the wait.
My respect for him skyrocketed. He was very busy but he was still willing to talk to and interact with his fans (unlike Sandman, who was a complete jerk. He spent half the expo wandering around ignoring everyone, including Aaron and me. He eventually acknowledged us but only gave a half assed wave in return). He was full of energy and everyone who walked away from his table with an autograph left very happy. I noticed when I was in line (which was only for a short while as I went at the end of the day, I was in line about 15 minutes) he made the effort to start a quick conversation with every person he talked to.
I was disappointed Michael Shanks had to pull out, but David made the experience that much more amazing.
Yer, Some actors are great and other well.... not with standing are a little ........ I can't say the word.
But I had the chance and I met both Chris Judge and Dan Shea a few years ago with Liability. And that was the time I also picked up my other nick name, Cursity of Teal'c himself....... Because of the first prime I am sometimes known as 'Hooker'
