Even before i'd seen this film, I just couldn't get past the title 'Hancock' without raising a smile.

What where they thinking I thought, as I watched the trailer with the deep voice guy saying "HANCOCK COMING SOON!" hehehe

Okay so the school boy jokes aside, It wasn't all that great a film. The storyline needed some more weight and although Will Smith did a good job, it just wasn't enough to give the film its own identity. Few people would have blamed you for thinking it was an X-men spin off for example. An interesting idea with an anti-hero but it just failed to deliver. A possible rent but thats it guys.

And if they had put a supervillain into the film it would have entirely contradicted much of the point of the film: Hancock feels alone because he is the only one of his kind, this wouldn't be the case if there was a supervillain. As for normal villains, there were plenty of them, and one overly ambitious one (the guy with the claws)
