Below is a selection of Weapons you can chooses for upcoming mission depending on the amount of points you have in your weapons invertory. Every member is issued an M-16 rifle and Beretta sidearm when they first start out. After completing Missions you will be award points to you weapon invertory. You can uses theses point to save up for a better gun. If you have a certain weapon you would like give me a PM and I'll try to included it if possible.

Note; All Rifles can uses the 40mm Greande Launcher, how ever you must have at least three Points in the skill of Grenadier before you can buy one for 4 of you Weapon points.

This thread has been created to help you learn about the weapons that are used in the SG1 show, there are many types of weapons that have been used by the teams. It’s an important piece of information for all Role-players to understand, the types of weapons there are and how to uses them.

SIDEARMS
Beretta 92FS

The Beretta 92FS is the standard Handgun currently used by the US Military, it has been used by the Military since 1985 when it replaced the Colt M1911. The gun is a standard double action barrel firing a Hollow point round.
The Calibre of this weapon is 9mm, with a 15 round stagger magazine in the grip

Glock 17

The Glock 17 is the basic model glock that’s in uses in the Military, overall it a good weapon that is easy to keep clean and easy to uses. Again it a 9mm, but it can be known to uses a whole range of magazine capacities. However this gun will be issued with a 17 round magazine.

M1911A1

The Clot M1911 Handgun is a classic, it has been in the service of the United States Military for over 70 years. Nothing can beat it reliability or .45 cal stopping power.

Colt KingCobra

King Cobra revolver had been in production since 1986 and discontinued in late 1990s. All King Cobra revolvers were made from stainless steel. Like the earlier Trooper revolvers, the King Cobra is an all-around, versatile gun, suitable for sport, duty, self defence and even hunting.

This is the Special CZ handgun based on another Famous CZ handgun the CZ-75. Its frame designed on the 75 but it’s a high tech polymer design.


SUBMACHINE GUNS
P-90

This is the weapon of Choice for the Finest SG team; SG1 has been using the P-90 for the past few years after using the MP-5. The P-90 is a small SMG (Sub Machine Gun) weapon, design to be a weapon for solider who don’t have small arms weapons.
The calibre of this weapon is 5.7x28mm
It can hold 50 rounds in its magazine with a fire rate of 900 rounds per minute. The effective range of the weapon is 200 meters.

The MP-5 is the standard SMG assault weapon available to USMC in combat.
This weapon has a 30 round magazine of 9mm with the uses of a Silencer if needed.

HK MP-7 PDW

The MP-7 is only issued to Sniper as a Closes quarter personal defence gun, when the bolt action sniper rifle prohibits their protection

ASSAULT RIFLES
Steyr AUG

This is choice of weapon for Captain Seffy of SG3, it offers a wide range of fire support from the standard 5.56mm NATO bullet to the 40mm grenade.


Heckler-Koch HK G36 assault rifle

The H&K G36 is the next in line weapon to enter into combat with the SGC and the US armed forces. Its body is made of a Polymers and it is easy to disassemble and reassemble during cleaning.
The G36 carry a magazine of 30 rounds with a clear casing that can be clicked together with other magazines in order to allow for faster reloading of the Gun.


Colt M16A4 assault rifle

Nothing needs to be said about the standard M16A4, it the work horse of the US military, every new Recruit will be issued the M16 on their First mission, again it using the 5.56 round in a 30 round magazine.

Fabrique Nationale Herstal F2000

An Advanced piece of kit, this weapon comes with a computerised Fire control Module. 5.56mm round again in a 30 round magazine.

CARBINE
Colt M4 and M4A1 carbine

The M4 is a Carbine Version of the World Famous M-16 assault rifle from the Arm maker Colt. It uses the 5.56mm NATO calibre ammo in a standard 30 round clip magazine. Overall it a very similar weapon to the M16A2 apart from it length of its barrel.

HK416 modular assault carbine

The 416 was H&K attempt at getting into the Military market with a Carbine and boy do they have a gun for it. The 30 round clips use the Standard 5.56x45mm NATO round.

The M249 is the Machine Gunner main work horse, if you’re a SAW operator this is the weapon your be using in the field, Again it using the 5.56x45mm NATO but remember you need to have a few good muscles to carry this weapon with ease, it weighs in at 5.75KG and is a belt fed weapon.

The heavy duty Machine gun, this weapon requires a Two men and a Tripod to operate. Much more punch, it a better choice in laying down cover fire or springing an ambush.

This weapon has been assigned as the top SGC sniper weapon, it light weight and easy to handle if your well trained. It uses a Calibre of 7.62x51mm NATO (.308Win) with a magazine of 4 round magazine. Snipers will also carry a HK MP-7 PDW submachine gun for personal protection from closes quarters.

The Weapon is the first Sniper weapon a SGC Member can get their hands on, Portable and very simple to uses with a 5 round detachable magazine of the Standard NATO 7.62 rounds. Snipers will also carry a HK MP-7 PDW submachine gun for personal protection from closes quarters.

GRENADE LAUNCHER
M203

The device attaches under the barrel and forward of the magazine, the trigger for it being just forward of the magazine. The magazine functions as a handle of sorts when firing for the M203. A separate sighting system is added to rifles with the M203 as the rifle's regular sights are not matched to the launcher. The M203 can fire high-explosive, smoke, illuminating, buckshot direct fire, CS gas, and training grenades.

Reetou Weapons

The Reetou are invisible to human eyes, existing 180 degrees out of phase. The TER emits a detection beam and can fire blasts of energy harmful to the Reetou.

Reetou Blaster

TYPE: Energy Cannon
Apparently attached to the arm of the insect like Reetou, this transphase cannon shoots energy balls that can knock a hole through a wall. A very powerful weapon.

This weapon is used to abush enemy force and render them asleep

Staff Cannon
TYPE: Heavy Energy Weapon
This weapon is similar to the staff weapon but is considerably more powerful. Because of its larger size, it is usually mounted on a tripod.

The primary weapon of Jaffa soldiers and Teal'c. It fires a blast of plasma energy and can also be used as an effective melee weapon.

Carried by many Jaffa and often used by SG-1, the Zat gun fires an energy burst that can stun, kill or disintergrate a living target.

This weapon can send out a white-coloured bolt of relatively slow moving energy. The full damage it inflicts is not known.

Bedrosian Rifle
TYPE: Energy Rifle
Use: This rifle fires energy bolts that have a stunning effect. It can also be used as a melee weapon or to lock or energise prisoner cages.

Makakai's Gun
TYPE: Energy Weapon
Similar to a pistol, this small hand gun emits bursts of energy at a target. Its primary purpose is to stun, although it can be set to emit a lethal blast.


PXY-887 Salish Trinium Forged Bow and Arrow
TYPE: Reinforced Projectile Weapon
With natural deposits of trinium at their disposal, the Salish of PXY-887 used this hardy metal to construct standard arrows for a more lethal delivery.

Alletii Mk. I

Energy weapon side arm from a planet of an unknown gate address. It was given to the soldiers of the world as a sidearm weapon. The glow indicates the micro internal power generator in operation. It is fairly powerful and the glow can be switched off for stealth missions, however in this mode the energy drains faster.


Alletii Mk. IV

Energy rifle weapon originating from the same world as the Mk. I. The glow indicates the internal power generation but can be switched off for stealth, although during this time the power does not replenish and therefore will eventually be extinguished until it can recharge again. A switch on the side can cause a sniper scope to protrude from the top of the weapon.

Originating from the world of the Alletii, these are living creatures the size of a pea. They reproduce whilst in visible light. These attach themselves to the enemy, causing temporary paralysis until removed. A zat blast will kill them, and once they have attacked once, they die.
