Email to another galaxy? How did Mckay in the episode "Miller's crossing" send an email to his sister if he was in the Pegasus Galaxy and she was on Earth? Isn't it kinda.. impossible?
Re: Email to another galaxy?send it through the gate in the Atlantis mission reports they send frequently, and then it is forwarded on to his sister

Re: Email to another galaxy?Spot on Nik. Atlantis now send frequent reports back to the SGC using McKay's file compression tool. As his sister has already been included in a SGC, as well as an Atlantis mission, she would be on the safe list for the SGC to contact, so it would be a simple thing for Walter or someone to simply forward any communications McKay might have for his sister.
Re: Email to another galaxy?Isn't that ep after the whole gate bridge construction... and before that's lost...
Radio signals pass through the gate... so just have all the gates dialled in and use good old wireless to get a connection from a router back at SGC. Cross-galaxy internet access

Re: Email to another galaxy? It's nice to see that the ancients planned ahead and installed USB ports in all their machines. Makes things easy on the Atlantis team.
Indeed.
