Genii

Postby Mikhail » Wed Feb 15, 2006 9:07 pm

It seems like the Genii are always getting the upper hand in conflicts with Atlantis. In watching the preview for this upcoming episode, it seems like they do it once again. I think that they need to quit fooling around and go kick some serious Genii ass. Take the Daedalus in and beam out a couple of the top leaders, then show the Genii just how far ahead of them they are. Tell them to join them, or prepare for all-out war. They are really starting to p*ss me off and the Atlantians just are so passive about it and always getting taken advantage of. (glowers)

(For the record, "Genii." Assuming that the Genii were put in pegasus by the ancients, their name is ancient and thus latin dervivitive, and would be englishized as "Genii")

I don't know, merely taking the Daedalus and flying around in circles around that base on their homeworld might make them stop for a good while...

Thanks for the spelling help. I edited. :)

Yea, or beaming out all their weapons and seeing how they like that. They just need a display of power.

They could ask if the asgard could lend them a ship, destroysome buildings with no people inside and then have them say " :greetings: We are allies of the Atlantians and the people of Earth, p*ss off"

That'll stop them :whaa:  :tears:

LoL I think something like that would have been best before the revolution took place that we probably should have been more hostile toward the Genii but now I think that relations between Atlantis and the Genii should get better now that we've helped out some of their people they might just help us out. That being said it seems to me like it’s in the Genii's nature to be backstabbing and deceives so we should expect them to have some hidden agenda.

on one hand isuppose u cant realy blame the Genii for there ways, they have survived as long as they have by being carefull and trusting no one, the have suffered hundreds of generations at the hands of th wraith and this is the way they have survived. I would imagine most people would be the same in such circumstances, knowing wier shes probably reluctant to attack knowing that they have to show they can be trusted and she probably knows that trust is not going to come easy.

Oh, I think the reason I'm confused is that I have been watching it on SciFi. I guess the episodes have already aired and you have already seen them. Where do they air originally?

The episode that we are mainly talking about for the Genii Atlantis relationship is the one that aires tonight on SciFi at 9 i think. It's called "Coup D'etet".

Ah, now that I've seen this episode, I change my view. Sounds like the Genii might be more friendly now.

Okay I've only actually seen two episodes with the Genii in them. I saw the episode that was on on Friday, and The Eye awhile back, so I can't make many comments about them. I'm saving up some money so I can by season one, and see some of those episodes.
