Nice cover story, it might just be the real explanation. Good one Daniel, we'll go with that! lol

And ummm no thanks. I didn't like DS9 but well if they could do it better I suppose there could be some interesting stories. I mean SGC and Atlantis are stationary so not like that would be a problem. I just don't imagine a space station big enough for that but I guess they could easily fix that.

The whole idea behind Star Trek, as the name suggests, is going out and exploring. Hence the 'trekking through the stars' of the title. DS9 stayed where they were and didn't go anywhere, therefore it was against the feel of the franchise. Also, it was just plain dull. :|

They went through a wormhole and then, usually, came running back with their tail between their legs. The only other place they ever went was to Beyjour (sp), and the station was virtually orbiting the planet.
The only really decent part of DS9 was the series finale when they had the huge space battle. Trust them to save the only good bit till the very end.
And yeah, you're right, we should really get back on topic :lol:

do you think they could connect the midway station to other galaxies, such as ida, we cpould have a quick visit to the asgard and find out why they are so useless lately
