Ba'al
Goa'uld, system lord, first seen in "Summit/Last Stand" and from there on in every season atleast a few times. After Anubis "left" (season 7 finale) Ba'al took the place as the most powerfull system lord. He did lots of things like modified the "Avenger", helped SG-1 in "Reckoning". He is a great player in the galactic game of survival since he now is a businessman.

Ballard, Nicholas

Nicholas Ballard is the grandfather of Daniel Jackson. He was part of the inspiration for Daniel to take up archaeology. He was a resident in a psychiatric ward for several years after claiming he was transported by a crystal skull to the home of some giant aliens. These claims turned out to be true when SG1, with Nicholas Ballard, travelled the home of these aliens on a distant planet. Nicholas Ballard stayed there at the request of the aliens as a gesture of friendship. Nothing has been heard since.

Brief Candle (episode)
O'Neill and the SG-1 team travel through the Stargate to Argos, where they come across a young woman giving birth. After Daniel delivers the child, the team is invited to a festival, where they find a civilization of beautiful, happy people who celebrate while the sun shines and mysteriously drop to sleep the minute that it sets. More mysteriously, they seem to age very rapidly - a lifetime is 100 days - an effect that O'Neill unwittingly inherits when he is seduced by Kynthia, a stunning Argosian woman. As O'Neill's hair turns grey and life races past, the rest of the team return to base to try to discover a cure for whatever is making O'Neill and the Argosians grow old so fast. Dr. Samantha Carter discovers the culprit: nanocytes or microscopic robots that circulate in the blood stream, apparently placed there as part of a cruel experiment by Pelops, a Goa'uld whom the Argosians worship as a god. But, the team can't figure out how to turn them off, and unless they can, O'Neill will soon be dead.

Bloodlines (episode)
When Teal'c joined the SG-1 team, he kept secret the family he left behind on Chulak for fear that it would make his new comrades doubt his loyalty. Now, however, his son Rya'c has reached the age at which he will receive his Gou'ald larva, and Teal'c is determined to stop the process that would make his boy a servant to the Gou'alds. After much debate and a promise to return with a Gou'ald larva for study, the team, disguised as monks, heads through the Stargate to Chulak, only to discover that Teal'c's family has been declared outcasts. With help from Teal'c's mentor, Bra-Tac, they battle Jaffa warriors and priests before finding Rya'c and his mother, Drey-Auc. The family reunion, however, is not as simple as Teal'c hoped; the boy needs the Gou'ald larva to survive. And the only one available is the one that is keeping Teal'c alive.

B-303 (AKA Daedalus class battlecruiser)

The B-303 prototype, the daedalus was first seen in Siege 3, although its plans were seen in Moebius part 1.

The ship is an alien/human technology hybrid and has many adavntages over the F-303 class. The ship is equipped with asgard sensors, shields, beaming technology and hyperdruve which were added during construction as opposed to after completion.

The B-303 also has an asgard crewmember, Hermiod, who has modified the beaming technology to enable it to transport nuclear warheads to Wraith hive ships. Despite this, the asgard have not equipped the ship with any asgard weapons.

The ship is armed with nuclear warheads, missiles and gattling guns as well as having an attachment of F-302 fighter/interceptors and has been given at least one puddlejumper.

The hangars are located forward of the main engines on the "wings" of the ship.

The second ship of this class was the Oddyssey which was assigned to defend the earth after the Prometheus was destroyed by an ori weapon during an attempt to rescue Dr. Jackson. The commander of the ship was killed whilst Col. Carter barely escaped
