Zat'ni'katel
A Goa'uld sidearm. Usefull as a stealth weapon, as it stuns on it's first shot and renders it's victim unconscious. The weapon kills on the second shot, and disintegrates the body on the third. First seen in the season one finale "Within the Serpent's Grasp", and nicknamed a "Zat Gun" by Colonel Jack O'Neill. Also called a Zat for short, the gun is in the shape of a coiled serpent and pops up when activated.

Zukhov

Russian colonel assigned to the S.G.C. to travel to P2X-338 and discover the whereabouts of a missing Russian Stargate team. Zukhov was annoyed at the prospect of following orders under Colonel O'Neill (as the two were both of equal military rank), and went about his own way inside the ziggurat on 338, tripping a booby trap that locked both units inside.

Zukhov was under orders by the Russian government to procure the Eye of Tiamat for study as a possible weapon or source of great power, which was the entire purpose for the previous Russian Stargate team's mission to 338. When he and O'Neill became trapped in a corner of the ziggurat by the Goa'uld Tiamat (in the body of Major Vallarin), he admitted to the subterfuge, and pretended to throw the Eye to the possessed officer. It was, instead, a live grenade. When it exploded it collapsed hundreds of pounds of ziggurat on top of Zukhov, killing him.

Za'tarc

A Goa'uld sleeper agent, someone who has been programmed subconciously to carry out a secret mission. The za'tarc does not know they have been corrupted until they commence their designated mission, i.e. an assassination. A za'tarc cannot control their actions when they are completing their mission. They are also programmed to commit suicide on either completion or failuire of their programming.

Chaos claims the wary or the incomplete. A true man may flinch away its embrace,
if he is stalwart, and he girds his soul with the armour of contempt.
