Since the destruction of the ascended Ori and Adria by the hands of SG1 in the Ark of Truth, the people of the Milkyway Galaxy have found that they can breath once again. On Earth, Stargate command has been given orders to begin off world explorations again by the IOA. The Beta site under the command of Malinda ‘Videl’ Voltz has been restored to full strength, containing 6 SG teams and base Support staffs are currently based off world at the Beta site.
At this moment, the Beta’s site flagship team SG6 has been deactivated and most of its team members have been transferred to other posts. Including it’s commanding officer Lt Colonel Abe Ellis who had been transferred to take command of the Earth Battlecrusier USAF Apollo. Brigadier General Voltz has promoted SG6 Second in Command Major Kurt Godia to the rank of Lt Colonel and has ordered him to reform SG6 with his choice of personnel. Kurt Godia has severed in the United States Airforce for 18 years with over two years worth of Off-world expertise.
has high hopes for SG6, Godia plans to reform SG6 into a well calibrated exploration team to rival SG1 of the SGC. At the moment he has several candidates from the military staff stationed at the Beta site. However a few places remain free and at this time Godia is willing to review as submitted resume to his office.
