Why do sky one not show season 10?

Has anybody ese noticed that sky show every episode of Stargate SG-1 untill season 10, which they seem to ignore and starts showing them all over again from season 1???

By my reconing its happened twice and im a little anoyed!

Do they just not have the rights to show the final season?

I don't think they have the season 10 syndication rights yet, I think it takes a couple of years before they can show the newest season in order to maximise the DVD sales, it is the same for Atlantis.

On the bright side, Ark of truth is on tonight, continuum will be showing next tuesday and atlantis season 5 will start the week after

I know it'll be too late now but if anyones not seen series 10 then Ark of truth has sooo many season 10 spoilers its silly...

Ive just re-watched season 10 on dvd (yeah, loved it that much lol) and I think sky not showing it before Ark of Truth sorta spoiled it for me. I kept looking out for bits they mentioned during the film...

But they did show Season 10 before ark of truth, they showed it when it first aired. The reason they re-showed Ark of Truth the other week was because Continuum was showing the following week. AoT was designed to follow on directly from season 10 to conclude the story whereas Continuum was a fresh start for a potential series of stand alone films

Unfortunately I didnt catch the 10th season when it was first aired, we lost our Sky (or rather my parents did) halfway through season 8.

I believe Sky shows all seasons one after another upto the end of season 9, then AoT, then back to season 1 again without showing season 10. After the apolcalyptic end to season 9 I was gagging to see AoT only to by crying Nooooooooooo! I first knew something was amiss when they talked about the destruction of Dakara. season 10 spoilers right the way through the film. Shame, but there you go

Most of the SG1 reruns are on Sky 2 now rather then Sky 1
