Whats going to happen to Dr Rush?

I was just wondering what people think is going to happen to Dr Rush?
After all he did appear to be quite an influential character in the series. I hope he is not out already.

But I would say that this character of a person, who does look like a criminal of a kind not a doctor of science should be eliminated from the show. I say, that Dr. Rush is absolutely unapropriate for the show. I can tell the same regarding the kino man (Eli).

I'm assuming that he will some how use the crashed alien ship to return to the destiny. However he returns, I hope it isn't something stupid that is over in the first few minutes of the episode like he just dials the gate
