The latest news is that the game has been canceled...

This is a link to the official Game Forum for Stargate The Alliance

http://www.stargate-thealliance.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6783

I am personally gutted, it seemed like the game was within our reach and has now at the last minute been taken away from us...

Agreeing with the statement released it is such a shame after all the hard work that was already put in...

Id like ot think this was another rumour but i think it is for real this time.

i'm really annoyed at it all!

Especially as now...with all these sites talking about it.... they still haven't noticed how much of a HUGE HIT it would be if they just said okay we'll make it? :|

I feel sorry for the design team they are a credit to the fans and to be shafted like that is terrible :(

It is so. This from Pegasusgalaxy.

Quote:
The Stargate video game we've all been looking forward that has been continuously developpped by Perception has now been terminated. Despite multiple offers from differnet publishers MGM have sat on their hands and done nothing. Without the necessary fuding Perception have not been able to carry on developing the near finished game (alpha test stage!).

So we stargate fans have startd a movement, slwo at first but as the news becomes offcial we shall rise up and demand that MGM reconsider and alow the game to be released.

More information can be found here:

And a petition has been started that we need you and everyone you can get in contact with to sign:
http://new.petitiononline.com/SGTA/petition.html

Stargate SG-1 has saved the planet countless times, now it's up to us to save the game!

Not without MGM's say-so I don't think. They own the rights to the Stargate name and everything that the name covers. Nothing connected with Stargate can go ahead without them agreeing to it. :(
