Lions Gate Home Entertainment, a division of Lions Gate Entertainment
(NYSE and TSX: LGF), continued to build on its reputation at the
cutting edge of the convergence between the video game and movie
industries, announcing that Lions Gate will release a number of its top
movie titles for the highlyanticipated PSP (PlayStation Portable)
handheld entertainment system for the North American market. The new
titles will be released on the UMD (Universal Media Disc) video format
that plays on the new PSP. The announcement was made by Steve Beeks,
President of Lions Gate Entertainment. [/b]
Lions
Gate's initial PSP release slate will include some of the studio's
hottest theatrical and catalog titles including Punisher, Terminator 2,
Open Water, Saw, House of the Dead, Rambo: First Blood, Total Recall,
Young Guns, Step Into Liquid, Universal Solider, Stargate and National
Lampoon's Van Wilder. Additionally, the studio has announced that the
upcoming theatrical releases Saw 2, Devil's Rejects, High Tension and
Waiting will be available for the PSP in 2006. Other titles available
for the PSP will be announced throughout the year.

entertainment arena as it has appeared on the horizon," said Beeks. "We
were among the first companies to release films on DVD, we released the
first DVD-9, we released the first DVD-18, and the first DVD + CD.
Lions Gate has a tremendous number of library titles and new films
perfect for this new format."

incredible machine that will quickly become a popular format with which
to enjoy filmed entertainment," Beeks continued. "It will go well
beyond the standard gaming environment. From the time it was initially
announced, we were preparing for ways we could mileage our extensive
library to deliver content for the platform. Each of these new
technological advances clearly builds greater value into our catalog
and content creation initiatives."
