Icon Magazine - Issue 1
Features exclusive interviews with Amanda Tapping and Michael Shanks, Stargate SG-1s Sam Carter and Daniel Jackson.

Amanda Tapping talks about the season 6 finale "Full Circle", the new season 7 and the SG-1 cast. Daniel Jackson's naked return, scenes that were left out, her directing and Major Carters new love interest. Beware that the feature is heaving with teasers and spoilers, including ones about a character death that confirms the rumours. The article also features a few stats about Amanda Tapping and her career.

Michael Shanks reveals his reasons for leaving and returning to Stargate. The SG-1 star also talks about writing episodes and the politics of the process. His interview is rather more serious than Amanda's fun banter, but it's a good read non-the-less.

Finally, just as a note, the interviews took place before season 8 was confirmed.

Icon Magazine - Issue 3
Contains a giant-sized poster of Michael Shanks, Stargate SG-1s Daniel Jackson. This magazine doesn't contain any SG-1 interviews, this issue it's Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss of The Matrix.

If you're a fan of Michael Shanks then this is the one for you. The downloadable versions contain the same posters, but are smaller at 8.27x11.69 inches print size. They fit nicely on A4, and are high quality. (Please note that the downloadable version is currently unavailable)

Icon Magazine - Issue 5
Issue 5 of Icon features a giant-sized poster of Amanda Tapping, Stargate SG-1s Samantha Carter. It's a season 7 promo shot of the major posing hands-on-hips, with a combat knife on her belt, and a Zat in a thigh holster. It's a great photo from a pretty good bunch of season 7 promotional pictures that SG-1 did. The interviews in this issue are with Forbes March (Mutant X) and Tom Welling (Smallville).

If you have a space on your wall, or just like to collect SG-1 merchandise + memorabilia, then this poster-mag is definitely worth a look. And if the poster isn't enough SG-1 eye candy, Icon magazine have 5 copies of volume 32 (the first season 7 DVD) up for grabs this month. If you're not lucky enough to win a copy, you can always take a look at stargater.co.uk's season 7 DVDs.

This issue is published on the 4th of March, and is now available for pre-order.
